Terms of service

TrialPath is not medical advice. We are a search tool that indexes public ClinicalTrials.gov data and summarizes it with the help of AI. Nothing we show you is a recommendation, endorsement, or substitute for professional medical advice. Always talk to a qualified clinician before making treatment decisions or enrolling in a study.

What TrialPath does

We help people discover clinical trials that match a condition, location, and age. We pull trial data directly from the public ClinicalTrials.gov v2 API and use OpenAI's gpt-4o-mini to translate eligibility criteria into plain English.

AI-generated content

Plain-English summaries and eligibility checkpoints are generated by a language model and may contain errors. We clearly label these sections. Do not rely on them for treatment decisions — verify any detail directly with the trial's listed contacts or your doctor.

Accounts

You may create an account to save trials and set up email alerts. You're responsible for the accuracy of information you enter. You can delete your account at any time.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape, resell, or re-host the data we serve. (The underlying ClinicalTrials.gov data is public — go directly to the source if you need bulk access.) Don't use TrialPath to send unsolicited communications to trial contacts or sites.

No warranty

TrialPath is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Trial statuses, contact info, and enrollment criteria change frequently and can be out of date. Clinical trial participation carries inherent risk — understand it before enrolling.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrialPath and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
