RecruitingThis phase Ib trial studies the side effects of nivolumab and to see how well it works alone and in combination with other treatments, such as ipilimumab, cabozantinib, platinum containing therapy, and fluoropyrimidine, in treating patients with autoimmune disorders and cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced), to other places in the body (metastatic) or cannot removed by surgery (unresectable). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Cabozantinib blocks certain proteins, which may help keep tumor cells from growing. It may also prevent the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. Cabozantinib is a type of tyrosine kinase inhibitor and a type of angiogenesis inhibitor. Chemotherapy drugs, such as platinum containing therapies and fluoropyrimidine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving nivolumab alone and in combination with other treatments, including ipilimumab, cabozantinib, platinum containing therapy, or fluoropyrimidine, may be safe, tolerable, and/or effective in treating patients with autoimmune disorders and advanced, metastatic, or unresectable cancer.

RecruitingSummary The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) Research Accelerated by You (RAY) Registry is a fully remote, longitudinal registry designed to collect data from adults and children living with lupus. The primary goal is to better understand the diagnosis, treatment, care, and quality of life for those affected by the disease. Remote Participation This is a decentralized, online-only registry. Participation is conducted entirely through a secure web-based portal. There are no physical site visits or travel requirements; participants can contribute from any location with internet access. Participation Details Consent: Informed consent is completed electronically. Surveys: Participants complete electronic surveys upon enrollment and every six months thereafter. Data Types: Collected data is self-reported and includes demographics, diagnosis history, treatment information, and patient-reported outcomes (PROs), such as quality of life. Purpose and Data Use The LFA uses registry data to: Address Constituent Needs: Inform programs and resources for the lupus community. Advance Research: Share patient insights with to ensure therapies are developed with the consideration of what matters and what matters most to people living with lupus. RecruitingThe overarching goal of this study is the development of a physiologic endpoint of pain and treatment effect in three distinct rheumatology populations. This would enable objective assessment of pain and treatment in these populations and enable a much more precise approach to treatment. Such an endpoint stands to significantly improve outcomes in these patients by eliminating the need for a trial-and-error approach to treatment. This is a single site observational study that aims to collect initial pilot data in three distinct patient groups. As this is observational, there is no randomization or blinding in the study. Patients will be followed for a period of one year after enrollment. Baseline measurements will be taken at the time of enrollment, and at each subsequent standard of care clinic visit as feasible, for a period of one year. As this is an observational study, there will be no change to the treatment for any patient due to research activities. The primary objective of this study is the characterization of the nociceptive index in three pediatric rheumatology populations. The secondary objective is the characterization of the nociceptive index in these populations in response to standard of care interventions. This is necessary to demonstrate the ability of this approach to serve as an endpoint of treatment effect.
